Job Description The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager - Hematology/Oncology to provide clinical and operational leadership for a hematology/oncology clinic in Glens Falls, NY. The Nurse Manager will oversee daily clinic operations, nursing staff, patient care, staffing, scheduling, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and budget management. This position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who is ready to take the next step in nursing leadership within an oncology setting. Responsibilities Lead daily hematology/oncology clinic operations while promoting safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Manage nursing staff, including hiring, orientation, scheduling, coaching, performance evaluations, competency verification, and professional development. Develop and manage the annual department budget, staffing plans, scheduling, and payroll practices. Monitor clinical quality, patient safety, and patient experience metrics and implement performance improvement initiatives. Provide clinical leadership and serve as a resource for registered nurses and other members of the healthcare team. Promote shared nursing leadership, staff engagement, collaboration, and accountability. Investigate patient concerns and clinical issues and implement appropriate corrective actions. Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements. Support efficient clinical workflows and appropriate utilization of staff and resources. Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals. Qualifications Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Current BLS certification required. ACLS certification required when applicable to the service line. Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience required; 5 years preferred. Previous nursing leadership or management experience preferred. Master's degree preferred. Nursing Leadership Certification preferred and required within two years of eligibility. Strong leadership, communication, delegation, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze clinical and operational data and implement quality improvement initiatives. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
