The NIHC has an immediate opening for a Clinic Nurse (CN) Supervisor. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while leading a team of dedicated professionals. The CN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality of patient care, maintaining staff competence and efficiency, and providing guidance and leadership to the nursing / medical assistant team. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and managerial skills with a focus on hands on patient care, management of clinic staff, and oversight of daily clinic operations. Payment or reimbursement for RN License Renewal Nurse Supervisor Responsibilities & Duties
Supervise and mentor registered nurses, medical assistants, medical records, and medical reception/patient scheduling staff
Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Ensure accurate medical documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, including ICD coding (ICD-9, ICD-10) and EHR systems
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for patients
Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing regular feedback and coaching
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and workload distribution to ensure efficient and effective operation of the clinic
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects
Maintain current knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices
Act as a liaison between staff, patients, and families, and healthcare providers
Handle patient complaints and address any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner
Must be able to travel in and out of state for training, conferences, workshops.

Proven experience in a clinical setting with critical care experience preferred.
Background in medical office management in a family practice setting.
Familiarity with various medical specialties including dialysis, pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
Proficient in Electronic Health Record systems for efficient patient record management.
Experience with case management and health coaching is advantageous.
Ability to perform essential clinical tasks such as IV insertion, medication administration, immunizations, phlebotomy, and vital sign assessment.
Understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in patient care settings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required.
Current state nursing license and certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) required
Certification in Nurse Management or Leadership strongly preferred.
Strong background in clinical care and patient management required.
Experience in conflict resolution and staff management required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably general or family practice, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Commitment to patient-centered care and a team-oriented approach
Ability to work M-F 8:30 to 5:00, with plans to expand to include one Saturday per month
Valid Driver's license and
