We are looking for more than a provider who can follow a protocol. We want a thoughtful clinician who can evaluate the whole patient, interpret laboratory results in context, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and clearly explain the reasoning behind each recommendation. This position combines direct patient care with clinical leadership in a growing men's health practice specializing in: Testosterone optimization Peptide therapy Medically guided weight loss Erectile dysfunction and sexual health Vitamin and performance therapies Additional men's health and wellness treatments We intentionally maintain a manageable patient volume so our providers have time to conduct thorough evaluations, educate patients, complete documentation, and build lasting relationships. The Provider We're Looking For You may be a strong fit if you: Build rapport quickly and help patients feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics Interpret laboratory results as part of the patient's complete clinical picture Develop clear treatment recommendations using symptoms, history, physical findings, laboratory results, and clinical judgment Look beyond the initial complaint to identify relevant risk factors and additional areas of concern Communicate honestly when treatment is appropriate—and when it is not Explain recommendations, benefits, risks, alternatives, costs, and expected outcomes clearly Complete charting, laboratory reviews, prescriptions, and follow-up tasks accurately and on time Take ownership of patient questions and clinical issues after the appointment ends Collaborate effectively with medical assistants, front-office staff, ownership, and the Medical Director Communicate professionally, accept feedback, and help solve problems Want to become a dependable, long-term member of a growing clinical team Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive new-patient consultations, physical assessments, and follow-up visits Evaluate patients for testosterone optimization, peptide therapy, medically guided weight loss, sexual health concerns, and other men's health needs Order and interpret laboratory testing Develop individualized treatment plans based on symptoms, medical history, laboratory results, physical findings, and clinical judgment Prescribe and manage testosterone therapy and other appropriate treatments within the clinic's medical oversight structure Identify and discuss additional therapies or interventions that may benefit the patient Educate patients about treatment options, benefits, risks, alternatives, lifestyle considerations, costs, and expected outcomes Review laboratory results and adjust treatment when clinically appropriate Monitor patient progress and proactively address concerns or inadequate treatment response Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical documentation Ensure prescriptions, laboratory reviews, follow-ups, and patient communications are completed according to clinic expectations Follow applicable clinical protocols, prescribing requirements, and regulatory standards Lead the clinical experience and support efficient patient flow Mentor and support clinical staff Address patient or staff clinical concerns as appropriate Participate occasionally in community outreach and clinic events Identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes, retention, workflow, and the overall patient experience What Success Looks Like Success in this role means more than moving patients through appointments. You know your patients. Your charts are complete. Laboratory results are reviewed promptly. Medications are managed correctly. Patients receive clear answers, and the clinic team knows it can rely on you. You make thoughtful treatment recommendations without promoting care that is unnecessary or inappropriate. When something requires attention, you take ownership and help resolve it. Qualifications Required Active Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Active DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances, as applicable Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent patient communication and education skills Strong documentation and organizational habits Ability to work effectively as part of a small clinical team Comfort discussing testosterone, sexual health, weight management, lifestyle habits, and elective treatment options with male patients Preferred but Not Required Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful: Men's health Hormone replacement therapy Endocrinology Urology Peptide therapy Medically guided weight loss Functional medicine Sexual health Related specialty care We are willing to train the right provider who has a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in becoming highly proficient in men's health. Schedule Patient-facing clinic hours:
Tuesday:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Wednesday:
9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Friday:
7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday and Thursday may include administrative responsibilities based on clinic needs and the provider's schedule. Some administrative work may occur outside patient-facing clinic hours. No weekends. No holidays. Compensation and Benefits $63-$70 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
