Job Description
Overview Responsibilities + Review and update physician diet orders in the hospital's EHR to ensure each patient receives meals matching their prescribed diet + Assist patients with menu selections, print and distribute menus, and make substitutions when necessary + Communicate diet change, allergy, and preference between nursing units, dietitians, and kitchen staff + Enter and maintain meal orders, admissions, and discharges in the dietary computer system to keep records accurate + Ensure diet accuracy, follow food safety standards, and support quality checks within the nutrition department Qualifications + AA degree in Food Science/Nutrition preferred. + One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred + County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current Employment Status Full Time Shift Variable Equal Employment Opportunity EEOC KnowYourRights\ screen\_reader\ 10\ Need help finding the right job?
