Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state OT license (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy highly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting Strong collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and time management abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth related to fine motor, sensory, and functional school-related tasks Develop and implement individualized therapy plans using evidence-based interventions Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and communicate regularly with families and staff Provide direct therapy individually and in small groups, both within and outside the classroom Offer recommendations for adaptations, assistive technology, or environmental changes Support teachers with strategies to integrate OT interventions into daily routines This contract role offers the chance to make a real difference in students' lives while collaborating with a supportive school community.
