• Job Summary:

• The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat developmental disorders in children ages 0-21. This position requires working collaboratively with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to implement effective treatment plans that promote age-appropriate development and enhance overall quality of life.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of developmental skills in children with varying needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with families to integrate therapy goals into daily activities
• Provide direct therapy interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative approaches that engage children in meaningful activities
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes
• Educate families and caregivers about therapy strategies and provide resources to support their child's development
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, physical/speech therapists, and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in the field of occupational therapy
• Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and community outreach initiatives.

• Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Idaho state licensure (or eligibility) as a Occupational Therapist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred. CF Mentorships for new graduates are available
• Experience working with pediatric populations and families
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with children and their families
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about industry trends.

• Pay:

• Pay is based upon experience. We offer market rate hourly pay for full-time/part-time positions.
