Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state. Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued. Working knowledge of IEP processes and accommodations. Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff. Ability to assess, design, and implement individualized therapy plans. Passion for supporting children with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine their functional abilities within the educational environment. Develop and execute individualized treatment plans to help students access the curriculum. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success. Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills essential for academic and daily functioning. Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed. Provide direct and consultative services to students according to their IEPs. Participate in ongoing professional development and school-related activities.
