Job Description

Overview:
Hello Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for working with children and families, as well as providing comprehensive occupational therapy to serve the pediatric population. We are looking for a PRN/part-time clinician to join our team beginning in September to provide coverage for therapist's time off and OT decreasing hours, they will then provide maternity leave coverage. This role has the potential to transition into a full-time position, with the opportunity to build a full caseload starting around March or April.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the developmental needs and functional abilities of pediatric clients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings with a focus on improving fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual motor, self-care skills, emotional regulation and overall independences.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimize client outcomes.
  • Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support carryover of skills into the home and community settings.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and communication with other team members.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidenced based interventions in pediatric occupational therapy.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program State licensure as an Occupational Therapist Pediatric experience preferred with knowledge of developmental milestones Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Commitment to providing quality client centered care. Experience in sensory integration, sensory feeding and visual motor preferred. Flexible scheduling with after-school availability.

$40.00
