Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services with experience in telehealth modalities. This role is located in Dearborn Heights, MI, and focuses on supporting students' developmental and functional needs within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' educational and functional goals. Deliver occupational therapy services through both in-person and telehealth formats. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and regulatory guidelines. Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies.
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based practice. Proficiency in delivering occupational therapy services via telehealth platforms. Strong understanding of educational environments and individualized education programs (IEPs). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored to working with children and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high professional standards.
