Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active state OT license (or ability to obtain before start date) Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred Ability to work independently without COTA supervision Strong communication and collaboration skills Understanding of IEP process and student documentation requirements
Role Details and Duties:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a caseload of 30-40 students ages K-12 Evaluate students to determine therapy needs and appropriate interventions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support academic participation, daily routines, and functional independence Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals and progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress for compliance and reporting Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
