Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated professional supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant, school-based contract position. Located near Pontiac, MI, this role offers the opportunity to help students develop essential life skills and participate fully in their educational environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting Strong ability to create individualized treatment plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to adapt to diverse student needs and schedules Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Assess students to determine their needs and abilities related to fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities Develop and implement effective intervention strategies and individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress Provide direct therapy sessions as well as consultative services in multiple school settings Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and present findings and recommendations
