Job Description

Make an impact by providing essential occupational therapy services in a dynamic school environment near Novi, MI. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled professional passionate about supporting students growth and independence within an educational setting.
Qualifications & Skills:
Current Occupational Therapist license in the state (or eligibility to obtain) Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred Excellent communication and organizational abilities Collaborative mindset for working alongside teachers, staff, and families Ability to develop and adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students therapy needs within the school setting Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each students goals Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on enhancing daily living, fine/gross motor skills, and overall independence Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and treatment, following all school and regulatory guidelines Educate and support teachers and families with strategies and modifications to aid student participation in class activities Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated student support This contract role presents a meaningful way to apply your expertise while shaping the school experience and outcomes of young learners.
