Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Michigan Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred, not required) Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapy interventions Skilled in documentation and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings Conduct assessments to identify students needs and develop individualized intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other professionals to adapt school activities and environments for student success Support the development of fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care abilities Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations as part of the multidisciplinary team Maintain thorough and timely records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
