Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a contract Occupational Therapist, supporting schools in the Bruce, MS area. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with school staff and families to deliver occupational therapy services designed to help students succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Valid and active Occupational Therapist license for the state Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and parents Ability to adapt and create individualized treatment plans based on students' unique needs
Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine strengths and areas for development in fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills Develop and implement effective therapeutic interventions to support each student's IEP goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports Educate school staff and families on supporting students in the classroom and at home Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and interdisciplinary team discussions to ensure a comprehensive support plan Your career growth is important, which is why you will receive ongoing professional guidance and a dedicated recruiter to support you every step of the way.
