REHAB DEPARTMENT
The present opportunity is for Rehabilitation Department consisting of Occupational and Physical Therepy. We offer all traditional Physical Therapy services, we also offer pediatric care, athletic training, strength and conditioning, concussion rehabilitation, vertigo assessment and treatment, and return to sport testing. The Occupational Therapy (OT) department focuses on helping individuals develop, recover, or maintain the skills necessary for daily living and work activities. Qualfications Master's program in occupational therapy from an accredited school. Licenses Certified Occupational Therapist (Required) Licensed to Practice in NY (Required) Soft skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Must be able to work under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service Responsibilities Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to enhance their functional abilities. Provide therapeutic interventions to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective discharge planning. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to guide treatment strategies. Maintain clear communication with patients and their families regarding progress and treatment goals. Document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
