Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a part-time Occupational Therapist supporting local students in a school-based environment near Pleasantville, NY. Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in New York State Experience working as an OT in school settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to varying caseloads Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students based on IEPs and evaluations Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings as needed, providing expert input on students' needs and progress Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills necessary for classroom success Further details about the caseload and specific school buildings will be shared as they are confirmed.
