Job Description

Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of New York Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desired Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff Flexibility and creativity in adapting interventions to meet individual student needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver three 45-minute occupational therapy sessions each week for a single student on caseload Assess student's skills and develop individualized treatment goals focused on progress within the school setting Implement evidence-based interventions to promote participation and independence in academic tasks and daily school routines Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy strategies and promote a supportive educational environment Monitor student progress, update treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Communicate regularly with parents and team members to share updates and collaborate on student success
