Blue Sea Educational Consulting is seeking an Manager of Occupational Therapy Services to help support and grow our Occupational Therapy services across Long Island. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician who is looking to expand beyond direct treatment and take on greater leadership responsibilities. You'll work closely with our leadership, recruiting, and operations teams to support fellow therapists, strengthen school district partnerships, and help shape the future of our therapy services. What You'll Do Clinical Support & Mentorship Serve as a clinical resource for Occupational Therapists and COTAs by providing guidance, mentorship, and best practice recommendations. Support new therapist onboarding and help clinicians feel confident and successful in their roles. Review evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and IEP documentation as needed. Collaborate with providers to promote high-quality, student-centered services. Foster a positive, collaborative culture across our therapy team. Department Growth Partner with our recruiting team to help attract and retain exceptional Occupational Therapists. Participate in interviews and provide clinical insight during the hiring process. Build relationships with local therapists, universities, and professional organizations throughout Long Island. Support networking initiatives and represent Blue Sea within the therapy community. Program & School District Support Collaborate with leadership and operations to support high-quality therapy services across our school district partnerships. Help ensure documentation, compliance, and service delivery meet district and New York State standards. Serve as a clinical liaison for therapists, school personnel, and internal team members when needed. Contribute ideas to improve workflows, provider support, and department processes as our therapy programs continue to grow. What We're Looking For New York State Licensed Occupational Therapist. 5-10 years of Occupational Therapy experience preferred. Pediatric and/or school-based experience strongly preferred. Experience mentoring students, new graduates, COTAs, or fellow therapists is highly valued. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus but not required . Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in helping others succeed. Passion for growing professionally while helping build an expanding therapy department. Location Candidates should reside on Long Island and be available to work from our Smithtown office.
