Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity working as an Occupational Therapist supporting school-based students in the Webster, NY area. This full-time role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact while growing your professional skills throughout the 2026-2027 school year. The position has the potential to run until an internal hire is made, providing stability as you help students achieve their goals. As a valued Occupational Therapist, you'll collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, contribute to the learning environment, and tailor interventions to meet students' unique strengths and needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current New York State Occupational Therapy license (required) Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or related settings preferred Strong knowledge of evidence-based OT interventions for school-aged children Effective communication and teamwork abilities Flexibility to work across different locations and adapt to changing caseloads
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals Assess, plan, and document individualized treatment strategies Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student success Maintain compliance with state and federal documentation standards Participate in team meetings, annual reviews, and ongoing professional development
