Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an onsite Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will work primarily with high school and elementary-aged students across two campuses, helping them achieve their educational and developmental goals. Your expertise will play a critical part in fostering student independence and success within the school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current Occupational Therapist (OT) certification required Experience or strong interest in pediatric, school-based OT services Previous exposure to working with high school and elementary school populations preferred Superb organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students onsite, in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote the student's participation and performance in the classroom Evaluate students' needs, create and update intervention plans, and document progress Manage a caseload across two schools, ensuring effective time management and high-quality support Participate in IEP meetings, providing relevant assessments and updates Educate school personnel and families on therapeutic strategies and interventions This contract follows a traditional school schedule, with approximately 35 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 28, 2027, offering the ability to impact students' lives across multiple school years.
