Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students and support their growth as a skilled Occupational Therapy professional on a contract assignment starting August 11, 2026, and continuing through May 23, 2027. Located conveniently near Lindale, TX, this position offers a meaningful experience in a school setting with the flexibility you need to balance your personal and professional life. This contract role offers a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, allowing for flexibility in how you structure your workdays. You'll play a key part in helping students reach their highest potential by delivering high-quality occupational therapy services across educational and healthcare environments.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in TX Previous experience providing OT services in schools, home health, or healthcare settings is preferred Strong understanding of OT best practices in educational environments Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt techniques to meet each student's unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with their goals Deliver occupational therapy services within assigned schools, promoting skill development for academic and daily success Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy into students' educational programs Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed throughout the academic year Participate in IEP meetings and share professional recommendations Provide home health OT services as needed, following guidelines and best practices
