Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), and Occupational Therapists (OT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality patient care across various settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units, and home health environments. Your expertise will help improve mobility, restore function, and enhance the quality of life for diverse patient populations, especially geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic patients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make a meaningful difference in patients' recovery journeys. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating physiotherapy or occupational therapy principles. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate physical function, mobility, and physiological status using medical terminology and anatomy knowledge. Implement therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, gait training, manual therapy, and patient rehabilitation exercises. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare standards and electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and discharge planning. Manage patient progress by adjusting treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and clinical documentation standards. Provide education and communication to patients and their families regarding treatment goals, home care routines, and community resources for ongoing support. Assist in inpatient, outpatient, hospital, outpatient rehabilitation center, and home health settings to deliver consistent care aligned with best practices in physiotherapy or occupational therapy. Experience Prior experience working with geriatric patients in outpatient or inpatient settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and treatment techniques such as trigger point therapy. Experience in acute care environments including hospitals or inpatient units is advantageous. Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows, outpatient rehabilitation centers, home health services, and EMR/EHR systems is essential. Proven ability to develop effective care plans for diverse populations including pediatrics and neurology cases. Strong client communication skills to educate patients on treatment plans and promote active participation in recovery efforts. Working knowledge of discharge planning processes and collaboration with healthcare teams for seamless patient transitions. $35.00 - $75.00 per hour
