Full Time / Hours between 8am & 5pm.
Pay:
$23 -$26 /hour- Depending on

Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Aide will perform or assist with personal care ADLs/IADLs for participants in the home if needed. If at the Clinic Center, the Rehabilitation Aide assists with treatments for physical, mental, and occupational disabilities, injuries, and illnesses under the guidance and direct supervision of a licensed clinic Physical or Occupational Therapist. Rehabilitation Aides are to follow through with a treatment plan established by the supervising Therapist to increase, restore, and maintain the patient's functional capabilities. The role of the Rehabilitation Aide is to focus on providing exceptional customer experience and quality care to the geriatric population whether at home or the clinic center. The ability to meet the specific needs of these age groups may be gained through previous education, experience, and training.
Required Skills and Abilities:
o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member. o Excellent oral and written communication skills. o Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. o Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, and Excel. o Knowledgeable of Proper Body Mechanics and Lifting techniques. Specifications /
Experience:
o A high school diploma or equivalent, is required. College work in a health career is desirable. o Restorative Nurse Assistant Certified preferred. o One year of experience in a medical care setting as an Aide in an allied health field is desirable. o At least 1-2 years of experience working with the frail elderly (Geriatric) and disabled population. o Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. o A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
