Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling Available Join Our Rehabilitation Team Napa Valley Care Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to help patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated COTA who is passionate about patient-centered care and making a meaningful impact in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. What You'll Do As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will: ✅ Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist ✅ Provide therapeutic interventions to help patients improve daily living and functional skills ✅ Assist patients with mobility, self-care, strengthening, coordination, and adaptive techniques ✅ Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress to the Occupational Therapist ✅ Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements ✅ Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, equipment, and safety practices ✅ Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes ✅ Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning as needed ✅ Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Experience in a skilled nursing facility, post-acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting Knowledge of electronic medical records and therapy documentation systems Strong understanding of Medicare, managed care, and rehabilitation practices Why Join Napa Valley Care Center?
