Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic care to patients across various settings, including acute care, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments. The COTA will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall quality of life. Duties Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans developed by the Occupational Therapist. Provide therapeutic interventions to patients in various settings including geriatrics, pediatrics, and inpatient care. Conduct assessments and document patient progress towards goals. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care strategies. Ensure a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions. Experience Previous experience in occupational therapy settings such as acute care, skilled nursing facilities, or clinics is preferred. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and occupational health practices is a plus. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatric and geriatric patients is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are essential. A valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is required. Pay:
$34.00 - $40.00 per hour
