Job Description The Rehab Aide I is responsible for assisting the rehabilitation staff (PT, OT, SLP, Recreation Therapy, Clinical Nutrition) with a variety of duties to optimize our patient care activities. Shriners Portland is looking for a PRN Rehab Aide I to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures all equipment and supplies are organized, available and accessible. (including rehab storage areas, clinical notes) Assists with set-up of equipment, patient transportation, and basic routine therapy care under the supervision of a therapist. Demonstrates ability to manage multiple telephone calls, answering all calls promptly, speaking clearly, recording accurate messages. Greets patient, families, and visitors promptly. Knowledge of basic office equipment. Makes appropriate referrals for services and uses paging system effectively.
Required Qualifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED 1 year Rehab/Therapy Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
