This position is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, ensuring efficient scheduling and patient flow, and supporting occupational and speech therapists with non-clinical tasks to promote quality patient care for both children and adults. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFront Desk Greet patients, families, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Check patients in and out for appointments. Collect co-pays and process payments. Verify patient demographics and insurance information. Maintain accurate electronic medical records. Prepare and organize patient paperwork and intake forms. Communicate with patients regarding appointments, cancellations, and clinic updates. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Perform general administrative duties, including scanning, filing, faxing, and data entry. Rehabilitation Technician Prepare treatment rooms and therapy materials before sessions. Clean and disinfect treatment areas and equipment according to clinic protocols. Organize and maintain therapy supplies, equipment, and treatment materials. Assist therapists with setting up treatment activities and equipment. Escort patients to and from treatment areas as needed. Assemble home exercise programs and therapy materials. Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishment. Assist with non-clinical tasks to support therapists and improve clinic efficiency. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a medical office, rehabilitation setting, or customer service preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records preferred. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Skills and Attributes Friendly, professional, and dependable. Strong customer service skills.
