SUMMARY:

Provide services under the direct supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. This individual's time would be split evenly between Madison and Cortland counties. We have full-time and part-time positions available.

PAY:

$25.00 per hour, Full-time/Part-time positions available. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

Certified occupational therapy assistant with appropriate NYS license/eligibility. Valid NYS driver's license with approved driving history.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist in providing occupational therapy for individuals evaluated by the occupational therapist and in conjunction with OT treatment plan Follow the treatment plan established by the OT and approved by individual's physician Work in conjunction with the individual's physician and therapist in course of treatment. Educate/train ancillary staff members on treatment plan Completes all necessary documentation and billing forms on a daily basis as required. Provides therapy in functional, prevocational, vocational, homemaking skills, and activities of daily living.
