Job Description

Busy optometry/ophthalmology office, located in Andalusia, Al. is looking for a full/part time optometric technician. Yes, we have grown again. The responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the doctors with pre-testing, working independently with patients, scheduling appointments, insurance verification and billing, glasses and contact lens ordering and dispensing and optical lab assistant. Experience is preferred but not mandatory. A pleasant and outgoing personality, great patient care skills, dependability and eagerness to learn are qualities more valuable than experience. The qualified individual will be hard-working, considerate, enthusiastic, multi-tasking, organized, detailed with work and having good computer skills. Opportunity for advancement is available.
