Optician Front Desk Receptionist Ophthalmic / Optometric Technician You do not need experience in all of these areas. Depending on your interests, experience, and strengths, you may focus primarily on one position. We provide on-the-job training and are committed to helping the right person develop a long-term career in eye care. Responsibilities include:
Helping patients select frames that fit their look, lifestyle, and vision needs Educating patients about lens options, features, and eyewear choices Adjusting and customizing eyewear for comfort and proper fit Providing friendly, knowledgeable service throughout the eyewear selection process Helping create an enjoyable and professional optical experience for our patients Front Desk Receptionist If you are friendly, organized, enjoy talking with people, and like keeping an office running smoothly, the Front Desk Receptionist position may be the right fit.
Responsibilities include:
Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression Checking patients in and out Answering incoming phone calls Scheduling and managing appointments Assisting patients with paperwork Supporting general front-office operations Helping educate patients about routine and medical eye care Providing an exceptional patient experience from arrival through checkout Ophthalmic / Optometric Technician If you are interested in the clinical side of eye care and enjoy working closely with patients and doctors, the Technician position may be a great fit.
Responsibilities include:
Escorting patients through the intake process Reviewing and documenting patient health histories Performing diagnostic pre-testing Preparing patients for their examination with the doctor Assisting doctors with contact lens services and follow-up care Helping with treatment preparation and other clinical tasks Reinforcing patient education regarding contact lenses, medical eye care, and prevention Providing attentive, patient-focused care throughout the visit No Eye Care Experience? That's Okay! Prior optometry, optical, or medical office experience is appreciated, but it is not required. We provide training and ongoing support for the right person. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine desire to learn and grow.
