Ophthalmic Technician, Location:
Beverly Hills, CA ,
Shift:
Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Job Duration:
13 weeks contract,
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician. Ophthalmic Technician Diploma from an accredited program required. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC). Experience with electronic charting systems; Epic experience required. Strong knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostic procedures and eye function testing. Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a clinical environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and eye function testing as part of ophthalmic patient care. Conduct clinical optics and ocular motility testing. Perform visual field testing, keratometry, and corneal topography. Perform A-scan measurements and Schirmer testing. Accurately document test results and patient information in the electronic charting system. Follow established clinical procedures and maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
Pay:
From $1,700.00 per week
