Modern office setting Safe work environment Growth opportunities We're looking for a detail-oriented, sharp Medical Office Assistant/Ophthalmic Technician/Assistant to help support our team. Pre-health (pre-med, pre-PA) candidates are encouraged to apply. This position opened up because our current employees successfully got into medical schools! A successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling patients, verifying insurance, working up patients, using ophthalmic devices, preparing and maintaining files and records, handling correspondence, assisting physicians, and helping to keep the office clean and organized. The right candidate has an excellent customer service personality, and either has prior experience in an ophthalmology or optometry office, or is eager to learn on the job.
Responsibilities:
Provide medical support to patients. Provide administrative support to medical staff. Document patient information. Check in and assist visitors. Assist in medical emergencies. Billing 401(K) matching and health insurance available for full-time employees.

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
