We are looking for a team oriented Optician Assistant to work with our Opticians and our patients. Duties include greeting patients, assisting with frame inventory and frame selection, performing basic testing such as manual lensometry, placing Rx orders with the Optical labs, and assisting with dispensing the finished eyeglasses to our patients. Some training is available. Experience with Vision Insurance plans such as VSP and working with eyeglasses brands is helpful for this position. Computer skills for Electronic Medical Records and excellent customer service skills are required.
