Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, professional individual to join our fast-paced, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and build a career in eye care. We are seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to work closely with our ophthalmologists and optometrists. Previous ophthalmology experience is preferred, but not required. We are committed to training the right candidate and welcome applications from Medical Assistants or other healthcare professionals who are interested in learning a new specialty. If you have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care, we would love to hear from you. What You'll Do As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will: Perform comprehensive patient workups and assist providers during clinic. Help maintain an efficient clinic flow in a fast-paced environment. Operate specialized ophthalmic testing equipment (training provided as needed). Order and maintain clinical supplies. Assist with additional clinical and administrative responsibilities to support the practice. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor. Be organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Be able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Communicate effectively with patients and coworkers. Have experience with electronic medical records (EMR). Possess a working knowledge of medical terminology. Take direction well and work collaboratively under the supervision of our Lead Technician. Boulder is our main location, however, travel to our Longmont location is also required.
