As an Optometric Technician, you will play a crucial role in patient care by collaborating with our esteemed doctors, ensuring an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will blend clinical support with personalized consultations.
What You'll Do:
Patient Guide:
Serve as a point of contact, guiding patients through their visit, conducting preliminary evaluations, and preparing them for consultations.
Educator:
Explain treatment plans and answer questions to empower patients about their eye health.
Coordinator:
Manage the doctor's schedule for seamless patient flow and handle referrals and records with precision and HIPAA compliance.
Eyewear Consultant:
Assist patients in selecting frames that enhance their vision and reflect their personal style, while recommending tailored lens options.
Contact Lens Support:
Provide guidance on contact lens use and manage our trial inventory to meet patient needs.
Improvement Advocate:
Share your ideas for process enhancements to elevate the patient's experience.
Qualifications:
A minimum of two years of optical experience required. A genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional patient service. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse patients. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
