HIRING FOR SEVERAL POSITIONS IN 5 LOCATIONS!
Hiring MD Techs/Scribes in Barrington, Elgin, Crystal Lake Also seeking OD Techs, stellar Opticians with great sales records, a Provider Relations Specialist Lake Zurich area and South west area, and Front Desk Patient Service Rep. You will want to be a part of this great expanding team! Looking for Experienced Ophthalmic Technicians/ Scribes Northwest Eye Center Barrington, Crystal Lake, and/or Elgin, Illinois •Sign On Bonus $300.00 after 60 days of gainful employment•Ophthalmology Practice Ophthalmology practice seeking an experienced individuals with a proven track record of success: 1. Excellent work ethics 2. Reliability 3. Organizational skills 4. Manually refract 5. Flexibility-Willingness to work from different locations 6. Professionalism 7. Maintain a positive attitude 8. EMR-Nextech 9. Possess the ability to multi-task Work as a team! The Technician is expected to work as a team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. A trained trained/experienced technician should be versed in all areas of the clinic; some cross-training may be required. For Trainees , applicant will be trained accordingly. Ability to manually refract is highly desirable. Ability to Scribe, or learn, is highly desirable. Duties include working up patients (history, VA, Tonometry, refracting), doing fundus photography, OCT, IOL master and visual field screening. Informing patients on IPL and OptiLIFT Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. EMR Experience a must Recent Experience in the following skills required for the experienced technician. Refraction (manual) Fundus photography Optical coherence topography and specular microscopy; Patient education Taking measurements for cataract surgery Prepping patients for laser procedures IOL master Visual fields Pachymetry OCT Scans Assisting with the management of the flow of patients/rooms. Candidate must be able to document a complete ocular and medical history. COT (Certified Ophthalmic Technician) or COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) certification is not mandatory but preferred. Northwest Eye Center may agree to pay for your Certification with a reasonable employment agreement. Salary commensurate with work experience & education.
