Experience Required Our busy, patient-focused ophthalmology practice is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician who is passionate about patient care, eager to continue learning, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. What You'll Do As an Ophthalmic Technician, you'll work alongside our physicians and clinical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include:

Welcome and prepare patients for their appointments. Obtain and document medical histories and chief complaints. Perform preliminary vision testing and ophthalmic diagnostic testing. Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures. Administer ophthalmic medications as directed by the physician. Educate patients on eye conditions, medications, and treatment plans. Accurately document patient information in our electronic medical record (EMR) system. Clean, maintain, and calibrate ophthalmic equipment. Help ensure efficient patient flow while providing outstanding customer service. Collaborate with physicians and fellow team members to deliver the highest quality patient care. What We're Looking For Previous ophthalmic experience is required. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment. Basic computer skills and comfort learning electronic medical record systems. Medical office or healthcare experience is a plus but not required. COA/COT certification is welcomed but not required. We strongly encourage our technicians to obtain COA certification and proudly cover the cost of study materials, exam fees, and certification expenses to support their professional growth.
