We're looking for a Full-Time Optometric Technician who is dependable, personable, and eager to grow in the field of eye care. This position will work between our Nashville and Freeburg offices , with most travel occurring between these two locations. No previous optometric experience is required—we'll provide training to the right candidate! In This Role, You Will You'll play an important part in creating a smooth and positive experience for our patients from the moment they arrive.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Gathering thorough patient histories and documenting information accurately in our EMR system Performing a variety of pre-testing and diagnostic procedures, such as auto-refraction, visual fields, Optomap imaging, OCT, topography, and lensometry Recording test results carefully and making sure patient information is complete and accurate Helping patients understand and follow through with recommendations made by the doctor, including eyewear, contact lenses, ocular treatments, and additional medical testing Assisting with front-office responsibilities, including answering incoming calls and scheduling patient appointments Providing support to our contact lens team by assisting with orders and sales and teaching patients how to properly insert and remove their lenses Working closely with the rest of the team to keep the patient experience organized, welcoming, and efficient The Person We're Looking For The right candidate is someone who takes pride in helping others and is comfortable learning in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
