Our busy, patient-focused optometry practice in the Plainfield/Joliet area is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Front Desk/Optometric Technician to join our team. We are open to hiring either a full-time or part-time member, depending on the candidate.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service Answering phones and scheduling appointments Confirming upcoming appointments Verifying and explaining vision insurance benefits Performing pre-testing before the doctor's exam Assisting with other front office duties as needed Previous experience in a medical or optometry office is preferred but not required. Billing experience is a plus, and we are happy to train the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is: Friendly and professional Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Dependable with excellent communication skills Please include your resume when applying.

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
