Riemer Eye Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians and clinical professionals in a practice committed to delivering exceptional eye care. Position Overview The Ophthalmic Technician plays a vital role in supporting physicians and ensuring a smooth, efficient patient experience. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examination by obtaining medical and ocular histories Perform preliminary testing including visual acuity, refractions, tonometry, visual fields, OCT, and other diagnostic procedures Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures Administer eye drops and medications as directed Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure care Accurately document findings in the electronic medical record Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies Why Join Riemer Eye Center?
