As an Optical Technician at Pleasant Optics, you will play a key role in supporting our optometrists by performing essential pre-exam testing, assisting with patient care, and ensuring smooth clinical operations.         Key Responsibilities:
        • Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment
        • Perform preliminary testing, including visual acuity checks
        • Record patient and family health histories
        • Verify eyeglass prescriptions and order contact lenses
        • Enter prescription medications accurately into the system
        Additional Duties May Include:
        • Answering phones and scheduling appointments
        • Verifying insurance benefits (vision and medical)
        • Receiving payments for services and goods
        • Managing patient referrals
        • Completing various office tasks as needed
        Work Hours:
        • Monday through Friday
        • Occasional Saturday mornings
        • Flexibility to fill in at other locations as needed
        Qualifications:
        • High school diploma or equivalent required.
        • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
        • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
        • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
        • Team oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
