Assist optometrist during eye examinations by operating diagnostic imaging equipment including autorefractor, lensometry, photography, visual fields, and tonometry devices. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to protect patient privacy at all times. Manage electronic health records (EHR/Office Mate system), ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, exam results, and treatment plans. Handle front desk duties including scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries, processing payments, and retail sales of optical products. Qualifications High School Diploma Required Strong patient service skills with a focus on direct patient care, demonstrating professionalism and compassion in all interactions. Excellent organizational skills with retail math proficiency for optical sales transactions. Flexibility to support patients when needed and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
