Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tech and Optical Assistant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while also assisting with various administrative and optical tasks.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner. Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries. Assist with optical sales, including frame selection, lens measurements, and order processing. Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and other optical products. Perform preliminary eye exams and tests as directed by the optometrist. Help maintain inventory of optical products and supplies. Collaborate with the optometrist and other staff members to ensure efficient patient flow.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred. Knowledge of basic optical terminology and procedures is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in optometry or healthcare administration is desirable but not required.
