Job Description

Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Assistant Ophthalmic Technicians/Medical Assistants - willing to train the right candidate to join our team located in Wantagh and Massapequa. Duties include but not limited to patient intakes, checking visual acuities, answering patient questions in office and by telephone, operating ophthalmic diagnostic imaging equipment, assisting with office-based procedures, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR), facilitating electronic RX and refills for patients, and assuring overall quality day-to-day operations. Must be friendly, professional and provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be willing to work days, one evening per week, and occasional Saturdays.
