Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable optometric assistant to join our team. As an optometric assistant, you will work closely with optometrists to provide high-quality eye care services to our patients. Grand Lake Eyecare, LLC is a culture driven, family oriented organization consisting of three doctors with locations in Celina and Ft. Recovery. We are currently hiring full-time and part-time optometric assistants able to work 20-40 hours per week. Duties Greeting patients Scheduling appointments Answering phones Pre-testing Frame selection and adjustment Contact lens instruction Scribing Patient check out Insurance submission Skills Career-oriented, hardworking, punctual, and enjoy working with people. Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency using computer for scheduling and record keeping Must have a professional appearance, and be able to travel between offices Experience No experience necessary; however, past experience is beneficial as is a degree in medical assisting. New hires demonstrating competence will be selected to advance their careers via certification through the American Optometric Association.

Pay:

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
