We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care using advanced technology and equipment. Our experienced doctors specialize in various areas, including primary care optometry, contact lenses, pediatrics, geriatrics, and ocular disease. Summary We are seeking an Optometric Technician to join our team at Cranston Eye & Optical. In this role, you will assist our optometrists in providing exceptional patient care and support during eye examinations. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Responsibilities Assist optometrists during eye examinations and procedures. Perform preliminary tests such as measuring visual acuity and taking vital signs. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and answering questions. Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification as an optometric technician is a plus. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical record management. Experience with optical equipment and retail sales preferred. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
