If you smile easily, enjoy learning, and take pride in providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to meet you. This is not just a receptionist position. Our team members become cross-trained for patient care, assisting doctors, and helping patients choose eyewear that improves their vision and confidence. Every day is different, and you'll continually learn new skills. What You'll Do You'll rotate through several areas of the practice, including: Welcoming patients and creating a warm first impression Answering phones and scheduling appointments Verifying insurance and checking patients in and out Assisting doctors during comprehensive eye exams Performing preliminary vision testing using advanced technology Taking retinal photographs and other diagnostic testing Educating patients about their eye health Helping patients select frames and lenses they'll love Using the practice management system to place eyewear orders Supporting a positive, organized, team-focused office We're Looking for
Someone Who Is:
Friendly and genuinely enjoy helping people Reliable and punctual Positive with an encouraging attitude Comfortable using computers and technology Detail-oriented and organized A quick learner who enjoys mastering new skills Professional in appearance and communication A true team player First 3-months will be training at Martin Road Optometry in Amarillo Previous experience in healthcare, optometry, ophthalmology, dental, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person.
