Full-time About The Opportunity Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking an Optician to support senior outpatient clinics across the Bay Area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and ready for a change from the traditional retail optical setting. In this role, you'll help bring quality vision care directly to senior citizens and underserved communities in a structured, mission-driven healthcare environment. Why This Role Is Different At CMC, your work has a direct impact. You'll support optometry care in senior-focused outpatient clinics, helping patients who may have limited access to essential vision services. This is not a high-volume retail model. We focus on quality care, meaningful patient interaction, and strong support for the providers and clinical teams we serve. There may also be opportunities to cross-train in additional clinical areas such as audiology and podiatry. What You'll Do Assist the optometrist with patient intake, visual screenings, and basic diagnostic testing Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients Assist with eyewear selection, adjustments, fittings, and basic repairs Set up, break down, and maintain portable optometry equipment Follow sterilization, safety, and infection control protocols Complete basic documentation, charting, and administrative tasks Represent CMC with professionalism, compassion, and reliability Qualifications 2+ years of experience as an Optician or Optometric Technician preferred Experience serving geriatric or senior populations preferred Strong understanding of OSHA and infection control standards Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required Able to lift and transport equipment, typically 25-50 lbs Must be able to pass a federal background check and drug screening Professional, punctual, and able to work independently A heart for serving seniors and underserved communities What You'll Get $26
