This position are designed to educate and assist patients in selecting their contacts, lenses and frames. In addition, ordering lenses and contacts, answering phones, patient follow up, maintaining inventory and other related duties. • Multi-lingual speaking is a plus Duties are inclusive of all jobs needed, but are not limited to:
• Write up and process optical orders for contacts
• Obtain insurance verification and authorization
• Check in orders when they arrive and verify prescriptions
• Call patients to pick up glasses, contacts and confirm appts
• Interact with Optometrists on patient needs and requests and questions
• Keep office clean and updated
• Perform other duties as directed by Office Manager
• Detail minded with meticulous hand skills
• Knowledge of lensometry
• Can present eyewear from value to luxury, to a variety of customers
• Retail optical sales experience
• You're confident, motivated and have stable work history.
