We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our energetic team as an Eyewear Consultant . As an Eyewear Consultants you are responsible for ensuring patients are fitted with the right-size frames that fit their needs and lifestyle and dispense lenses with correct prescription and measurements. Optical Consultants are at the heart of our business. Their technical and customer service skills ensure patient satisfaction and repeat business. is crucial as it serves as the first point of contact for our patients, setting the tone for their overall experience at our practice. The candidate we seek should have a pleasant and warm personality, with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. While prior experience in an optometry setting is preferred, it is not mandatory, as we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. The wage range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 hourly, commensurate with experience and the position will be offered an opportunity to earn bonuses and commission (role specific) The ideal candidate will: You Will Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising the patient's needs Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection process by using knowledge of product lines and options to educate patients on best fit Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through cultivating a patient experience that is built on relationship building and trust Provide patients with comprehensive explanation of insurance benefits Utilize company provided training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from our wide selection of stylish eyewear Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient. Provides patients with a complete understanding of our customized recommendations for products and services Develops own clientele from providing outstanding service and obtaining referrals Keeps current on company/industry products and procedures, manufacturer rebates, and types of lenses and frames available Collaborate with doctor(s) and team members to provide seamless patient experience Other duties as assigned by the office manager.
